先週の「サザエさん」を家事をしながら聞いていたのですが波平のセリフが名言、名コーチでした！
エピソードは、ある財閥のお坊ちゃんのお友達を探しに執事が磯野家にやってき他ところから始まります。
（うる覚えなので意訳です）
執事：うちのお坊ちゃんは、成績は優秀だがお友達がいなくて引っ込み思案。その反対にお宅のカツオくんは成績が悪いのに明るく元気で友達の多い。ぜひ坊ちゃんの友人になっていただきたいと思い、参りました。
執事：つきましては私立の学校に転校していただき、私どもと一緒に住んでいただきたいと思います。もちろん、学費や生活費は全額負担します。
ここからが名言です。
波平：確かにカツオは成績が良くありません。それは勉強の楽しさに目覚めていないからです。元気で明るいのは、今いる学校のお友達や一緒に住んでいる家族のおかげです。友だちは大人が見つけるものではなくて自分で作るものです。せっかくですが、そのお話はお断りします。
家族の前ではっきりと胸を張って言えるお父さん。思わず家事の手を止めTVを観に行ってしまいました。

The other day, I was watching “Sazae-san” while doing household chores and Namihei said a quotable line that made me remember the coaches in my school.
The episode starts with majordomo coming to Isonoya looking for friends for the wealthy family’s child he’s taking care of. (or something like that)
The majordomo: The child I take care of has a high scholastic standing but no friends and is a reserved person. Since your Katsuo is the opposite with bad grades, a cheerful and energetic character and a lot of friends, I thought they could become friends and that’s why I came here. I would like Katsuo to transfer to a private school and live with us. It goes without saying that we will pay the school fees and living expenses.

Namihei: I can’t deny that Katsuo has bad grades. This is because he hasn't noticed how studying is fun yet. If he’s happy and energetic right now, it is because he has friends at school and live with his family. Children must make friends by themselves and adults shouldn't involve. Thank your for coming but we refuse.
He claimed this as a father in front of his family. Before I knew it I stopped doing house works and went to watch the entire episode.
